
The Western Montana Chapter for the Prevention of Elder Abuse is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting community action against the abuse of vulnerable adults. The Western Montana Chapter is a local affiliate of the National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse.
Our Mission: Community based organization that strives to protect and promote the health and welfare of persons with disabilities and the elderly of our communities.
Goals: prevent and reduce exploitation, prevent and reduce abuse and neglect, increase education and public awareness.
The WMC has programs available to those in need of certain services. We are currently covering seven counties in Western Montana: Flathead, Lake, Sanders, Mineral, Missoula, Ravalli, and Lincoln. We have affiliations with the local Area Agencies on Aging in each of these counties. If you have something to report or need to contact the WMC please call 406-327-7886 for Missoula, Mineral, or Ravalli County or 406-752-3022 for Flathead, Lake, Sanders or Lincoln County.
