2010 Fee Schedule
Payee Services: Social Security allows the payee to charge 10% but collect no more than $37/month for their services from the client's Social Security, SSI, and SSDI.
VA Fiduciary: The VA allows a 4% charge which we would collect.
Case Management: $45/hour
Mileage: The WMC reimburses staff .50/mile
Legal Fees:- Attorney: $150/hr
- Paralegal: $75
- Annual Reports: $250 - may be compiled by bookkeeper, director, social worker and filed by our attorney.
- Inventories: $500 - visit to property, photographs taken and on file. Compiled by director and filed by our attorney.
- Visitor Reports: $250 Minimum - Personal contact with proposed ward, meetings with parties involved and written report by our MSW social worker.
- Notice of Conservatorship: $200
- When a conservatorship client owns real estate our in house attorney files a "Notice of Conservatorship" with the court to protect the property. Our attorney prepares the notice and it is processed by her paralegal. Preparing the notice requires collecting property information, taxes and a legal description. The notice is then filed at the Clerk and Recorders office.
Director Fee: $50/hour
Conservator Fees:- Set-up: $250
- This fee includes the referral process; staffing; computer set-up; physical set-up; phone calls with clients and vendors; payee application; change of address; Director and bookkeepers time at financial institutions; mileage.
- Bookkeeper Fee: $65
- Set-up: $250 - includes consultation with legal parties, transfers of assets and set up of appropriate accounts
- Bookkeeper Fee: $65 with a minimum of a 1/2.
- The Western Montana Chapter charges an annual fee of $500 to manage Trusts. The fee goes towards the insurance the Chapter needs to have in place for managing these large accounts and the annual report to the Trust Protector / Beneficiary.
